Text Box: Dispersion Modelling

Although use of dispersion modelling is relatively commonplace, factors such as topography, building effects and atmospheric stability are often poorly treated.  A high degree of competence is therefore required to select the most appropriate model, to specify appropriate input data and most importantly, to evaluate the results.  This requires an understanding of the dispersion process coupled with experience of numerical modelling, real-life situations and physical (wind tunnel) modelling.

We are unique in that we offer all  services relevant to air quality assessment and management.  These include :

· numerical modelling ranging from simple screening tools such as DMRB to complex point source and roads models.

· wind tunnel modelling using the most appropriate wind tunnel

· Computational Fluid Dynamics models (CFD)

· On-site monitoring .
